Approvals in PEGA

--

Work approval means to take a decision to approve or reject a work. Let’s see a real world example to understand the concept. Suppose an employee submits the leave request and it is routed to the manager. The Manager can either approve/reject the request submitted by the employee. To configure an Approve/Reject step, we should define who is assigned to the approval and how the case proceeds if the case is approved or rejected. To achieve this, configure the Approve/Reject step routing and flow. If the employee’s manager must approve the request, the approval goes to the manager’s worklist. If any member of a group of managers can approve the request, the approval goes to the group’s work queue.
