Have you ever heard of a software that writes a software? That is what PEGA does. UI capabilities such as drag-and-drop, process flows, and visual tools allow anyone to create transformational software without any knowledge in coding. So what does an enterprise benefit from this tool? Absolutely developers can build application in less time and makes development more easier. PEGA application can be connected to external database.

The workspaces in PEGA are known as PEGA platform studios. These work spaces are role-based. There are 4 kinds of authoring role-based workspaces. They are:

1. App Studio: A low-code workspace designed for business architects, citizen developers and system architects.

2.Dev Studio: A low-code workspace with advanced configuration options for technical team members as well as system architects.

3.Prediction Studio: An analytics workspace used by data scientists and business decision-makers.

4.Admin Studio: A software administration workspace managed by IT staff for system administration.

Each studio consists of 3 areas::

  1. Header
  2. Navigation panel
  3. Workspace

Header: In the above picture, we can see various menus or tools, depending on which studio is active. Here, app studio is chosen. All studios have a drop-down arrow in the upper-left corner, which lets you switch between studios.

Navigation panel: Allows to access various parts of application through explorers.
